An informal meetup of information security professionals in Chicago. Unlike other meetups, you will not be expected to pay dues, "join up", or present a zero-day exploit to attend.

When

ChiSec is Wednesday, June 12th at 7PM. We stay until people get tired of hanging out. That seems to be about 3 hours.

Why

It fills a gap. In other cities, there are regular professional meetups. Chicago has ISSA and 2621. We're less formal than ISSA. Nobody takes minutes. We just try to get to know the locals in our field.
